The Catalyst V8e is an innovative laser marking system designed for high-durability label production in industrial, medical, automotive, and numerous other applications. The system combines printing on laminated, extremely robust label material with an integrated digital contour cutter, allowing labels of any shape and size to be produced directly from a continuous roll, perfect for applications requiring maximum durability.

Innovative Imaging and Cutting Technology

Instead of ink or foil, the Catalyst uses up to eight fiber-coupled laser diodes to generate the image on Schreiner ProTech’s Color Laser Film (CLF).
The contactless laser marking occurs beneath a transparent protective film within the material laminate, producing sharp, permanent, and highly durable results.

Perfect Cut Contours Without Harmful Substances

The Catalyst features:

Unlike conventional laser systems, labels are mechanically cut instead of using a laser beam. This eliminates harmful fumes and removes the need for expensive filtration systems.

Maintenance is minimal:
Regularly remove dust generated during the digital cutting process. Laser diodes and fiber couplers have long lifespans and are replaceable if needed.
